Description:
Authentic vintage Soviet Army/Air Force Officer Parade Overcoat (Shinel) manufactured in 1991, the final year of the USSR. This heavy-duty, double-breasted overcoat features structural grey wool construction and a complete set of original silver buttons embossed with the classic Soviet hammer and sickle emblem.
The original interior manufacturer tag is crisp and fully intact, attributing production to the famous Vitebsk Sewing Factory "Banner of Industrialization" (located in Vitebsk, Belarus).
Perfect for historical collectors or as a heavy, statement streetwear piece.
Item Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. No moth holes, rips, or tears in the wool. The interior sateen/silk-serge lining is fully intact and clean. There is a small hole in the sateen lining shown in photo beside a penny to show size comparision. All original buttons are present and securely attached. The coat is old and has an oldish wool smell to it. There is also some lint and dust particles throughout from storage and display. We would recommend having it professionally cleaned prior to wearing.
